Tampere Day 2

Hello again,

Here is todays (Sunday's) exercise plan. Well done to all of my groups for a throughly enjoyable two days training here in Tampere.

Todays groups looked at front crosses, weave training, seesaw indepenance and wrong end of tunnels. We covered many skills training as well as handling.

Tomorrow (Monday) I have an early flight home tomorrow back to the UK, so getting everything packed now.

Tampere Day 1

Hello

I am here in Tampere (Western Finland) and have been training with 3 groups today. Each of the groups had some general topics, but we also had time to focus on specific problems and issues for each dog and handler. I was really happy today. If anyone has any pictures or video's from today and loads them up, please load them onto FB and "TAG" Lee Gibson Training.

Here is the exercise plan from today, which we did in 3 parts.

Looking forward to day two tomorrow.

Regards

Lee

Norway Seminars Day 2 (Sun 13th/10/2012)

Here are the exercise plans from the second day of seminars in Norway. It was been pretty cold today, and during the afternoon it rained for the whole 3 hours. It even tried snowing at some points! It was a good session and well done to everyone for working hard. It is nice to be in the warm now though!

Flying home tomorrow.

Norway Seminars Day 1 (Sat 13th/10/2012)

Hello

Above is the plan for today's exercises. I am currently in Hokksund, north of Drammen in Norway. I was teaching outside today and will again teach tomorrow.

The groups today did well and worked hard, I look forward to the second day tomorrow.

We spent a large proportion of today looking at contacts and the theory behind a successful and reliable 2 on 2 off contact. The exercises we talked about will help improve and maintain the contacts that are needed, as we say "to handle to course and not the equipment" !

I am here until Monday when I fly back. October is a busy month for me. I have already been in Poland and the Czech Republic, and have trips to Finland, Ireland and Poland coming up this month.

Will update again soon

Regards

Exercise plans from seminar in Jersey (22nd September)

Here are some of the weekends exercises from my training seminar from Jersey last weekend. The weekend was really fun and I was happy with the students and how the worked on some of the key issues and points.

Thanks to my hosts and organisers for a lovely couple of days on the island.

This week I have been somewhat hampered by the bad weather conditions, which has been making it hard to train outside. As I write this again the rain is hammering down. A week to be inside I think!

Today I took Scott for a fertility test to be sure that he can be a good stud dog. I was very happy with the excellent results and am glad that he is now proven after the test!

Hello,

Been ages since I wrote on here, but I am going to start posting regular again from now on. I have just returned from a week in Poland. Attached are some of seminar plans. I am now in Jersey where I have a seminar Saturday and a course analysis day on Sunday.

Back from Belgium

I am just back from my two days seminar in Belgium. I was hoping to put the course designs up on here but I currently have a problem with my hard drive and cant access any of my documents or programs, which is a bit of a nightmare!

However I have a video of myself running one of the dogs from the seminar on some pull through exercises. My French is not the best (!) but I managed okay.

Thanks to everyone on the seminar for their hard work.

Tonight I am doing a training night in Chesterfield, and tomorrow head to the KC Festival which has now moved venues to Rockingham Castle. Please contact Kennel Club for more information.
