Leaving Norway (a day late!)

Hello,

Yesterday was the second day of the show at Tonsberg, I judged the un-official classes yesterday. Lars Bang was judging the official classes.

I was due to fly from Torp (Oslo) to Liverpool at 17.10pm last night.. at 22.00pm I was just back at Birgittes house after hours in the airport with a cancelled flight. Lucky for Lars, his plane departed later that night amongst a host of delays and diversions because of the extream fog.

Number one for custormer service Ryanair gave me a seat on todays afternoon flight (15.45 Monday) but I was lucky, at least I had somewhere to stay the night, unlike most of the passengers, some of who I know slept there last night!

It has been a really good few days in Tonsberg and I enjoyed judging as well as the training earlier in the week.

Now I will hopefully arrive back in the UK tonight, and swiftly leave again Thursday for the Czech Republic!

Some pics from the lovely venue at the show!

Norway Tonsberg Training & Judging

Hello,

I am currently in Tonsberg Norway judging at the Tonsberg show. Today (Saturday) I judged class 1,2&3 Small & class 1,2&3 Medium aswell as a team event.

The later part of this week was spent in Tonsberg doing training seminars. Thursday it snowed all day, but I was outside doing seminars, not put off by the weather! I arrived Wednesday and am leaving back for home Sunday afternoon.

Tomorrow daytime I am judging again at the show. Tomorrow I have class 12&3 Ag & Jumping aswell as an Open Class, but it is unofficial classes for me to judge. Today I was judging the official classes.

Regards

New Update

Hello,

Its been a while since I wrote on here (will try harder!!) but here is an update of the recent events!

Crufts:

Firstly i would like to say a big well done t Alice Moodie, David Russel & Aljeana Baddley for their excellent performances at Crufts. It was great to watch you all do well.

I really enjoyed being at Crufts this year and catching up with everyone, although I will make sure next year that we are there competing as well!

BC Show:

This last weekend I was competing at the BC Agility show. It was really great to be outside and competing with my dogs, I have not competed since October, but was pleased with the dogs.

Jack I have been trying to tidy up his contact method. It will never be the quickest as the foundations was not done right, but he stopped on all of the contacts in a definite position, which was great.

Scott, well he was super at the show. I was very pleased. We had a 4th in the graded 6&7 and 2nd in the combined 5-7 only beaten by 0.02.

I have to wait until Lincoln until my next show.. which seems ages away, but I cannot wait for this season to get started properly.

This week it has been very sunny, and I am doing lots of lessons. It is really nice to be outside.

I have a video from the weekend to upload so keep an eye out for that!

Regards

Germany training weekend pics

Some pics from the weekend I just spent in Germany. I had a great time and enjoyed the group I had to work with. We did some hard handling courses and were working on difficult sequences, but the gorups did well. We were all a little tired at the end of the weekend though!

I am hoping to go up to Crufts for a couple of days later this week, otherwise I have lessons and regular training sessions going on.

Training weekend in Tonsberg Norway

So its Sunday now and I am half way through my training weekend here in Tonsberg. Yesterday I had two groups both for 3 hours each where I was specifically doing handling with the groups and getting them to work on handling, timing and efficiency when negotiating certain sections of the course. Today I will do some more handling skills with them.

It snowed here for the whole day yesterday. We were in a greenhouse type place with astro turf flooring, which was heated also. It was very good training inside the venue.

I also have a session Monday 9am - 2pm after Sundays training sessions.
